Chantal works in gouache, watercolour and ink and ceramics. Her art reflects images and timeless symbols that have deep meaning and connect to the psyche; using mandalas as inspiration. The work is luminous incorporating deep rich colour and metallic decoration. Each image is executed with precise detail and fine intricate patterns that give an air of something very precious. Her art has a global message of healing and can be used for meditation. Her paintings and decorative ceramics reflect her interest in the use pattern, ornament, textile and texture by different cultures. |
